The Election Commission has halted hearings for 'unmapped' voters in West Bengal, exempting those aged 85+, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women. This decision follows criticism over the ongoing revision of electoral rolls, with approximately 3.2 million voters identified as 'unmapped'. Political party Booth Level Agents (BLAs-2) will also be barred from hearing venues due to recent disruptions, including an incident involving a Trinamool Congress MLA.
