President Murmu Releases Constitution of India in Santhali Language

President Droupadi Murmu released the Constitution of India in the Santhali language, written in the Ol Chiki script, at Rashtrapati Bhavan. She stated this is a matter of pride for Santhali people, enabling them to understand the Constitution in their own language. The release coincides with the centenary of the Ol Chiki script. Dignitaries including Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal were present. Santhali, recognized in the Eighth Schedule, is spoken by tribal communities in eastern India.
