Two VBA Corporators Support Shiv Sena in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation

Two corporators elected from Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) in the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation have extended their support to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, strengthening its control in the 78-member civic body. In the January 15 elections, BJP and Shiv Sena, both part of Maharashtra's ruling Mahayuti alliance, won 37 and 36 seats respectively. The VBA corporators met Deputy Chief Minister Shinde to formalize their support, citing development goals and Dalit locality improvement as reasons.
