Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari Appointed Chief Justice of Madras High Court

Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari was appointed and sworn in as the 55th Chief Justice of the Madras High Court on March 6. He succeeded Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, who retired on March 5. The oath was administered by Governor RN Ravi in a ceremony attended by Tamil Nadu officials. The appointment was announced by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, citing constitutional provisions and consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
