Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray visited Nashik's Tapovan area to support a protest against tree felling for a proposed MICE hub and Sadhugram for the 2027 Kumbh Mela. Thackeray, a former Environment Minister, stated that environmental conservation is crucial for people's lives. Protesters allege around 300 trees have been cut, deeming Tapovan a religious and environmental heritage site. Thackeray criticized the administration's decision, calling it a conspiracy by the BJP to destroy the green belt for builders.
