17th India-Maldives-Sri Lanka DOSTI Maritime Exercise Begins in Maldives

The 17th edition of the trilateral maritime exercise DOSTI commenced on January 17 in Male, Maldives, involving the coast guards of India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. The exercise includes harbour and sea phases featuring joint training in pollution response, boarding operations, and interoperability enhancement. The inauguration was attended by senior defence officials, including the Maldives Defence Minister, emphasizing strengthened maritime cooperation and regional security in the Indian Ocean.
