Yemen's anti-Houthi forces declared a state of emergency Tuesday following Saudi Arabian airstrikes on the port city of Mukalla. The strikes reportedly targeted an arms shipment intended for UAE-backed separatist forces, specifically the Southern Transitional Council. In response, the anti-Houthi authorities also terminated a security agreement with the UAE and imposed a 72-hour ban on border crossings, airports, and seaports in their held territory, with exceptions for Saudi Arabia.
