Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for a three-day trip starting Friday. He will chair a parliamentary consultative committee meeting on Saturday to discuss national issues. Shah will also attend an event on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and is expected to address a public meeting. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan is also visiting the islands, with heightened security in place.
