Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated a trauma care centre, OPD building, and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) at Sambalpur district headquarters hospital. The facilities, costing Rs 21.28 crore and Rs 2.53 crore respectively, aim to enhance healthcare services. Majhi highlighted the state's plan to establish 89 trauma care centres across Odisha to improve accident victim treatment and reduce fatalities.
