Pakistan Reports Killing 583 Afghan Taliban Operatives in Border Operation

Pakistan's security forces have killed 583 Afghan Taliban operatives and injured 795 in an ongoing border operation launched on February 26, following attacks on 53 border locations. The operation has destroyed 242 Taliban check posts, captured and destroyed 38 others, and targeted 64 locations in Afghanistan by air. Additionally, Pakistani forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan militants near the Chaman border, killing one and recovering explosives. The operation aims to eliminate cross-border militancy threats.
