
The Delhi Traffic Police conducted five joint enforcement drives near Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport this week to remove encroachments and ease traffic congestion. Coordinated with a multinational conglomerate and Mehram Nagar village residents, the operations targeted unauthorized hawkers and illegally parked vehicles obstructing traffic. Authorities issued 331 e-challans, prosecuted 89 vehicles under Vehicle of Concerned Authority provisions, towed 63 vehicles, and removed nine hawkers to improve road flow for airport commuters.
