Punjab Government Advances Public Transport with Terminal Upgrades and New Buses

Additionally, the state plans to add 1,279 new buses to improve route coverage, frequency, and safety. Initiatives like free bus travel for women and students and the introduction of smart ticketing aim to increase affordability and convenience for commuters across Punjab.
