
Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district busted three terrorist hideouts linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad in the Billawar forest area. Acting on intelligence, joint police and security teams launched a search operation during which militants fired at forces, resulting in an overnight gunfight. Authorities recovered weapons cartridges, food supplies, cooking equipment, and daily-use items from the hideouts. Senior Superintendent of Police Mohita Sharma confirmed the operation is ongoing amid heightened security measures in the region.
