
Nearly two months after the November 10 Red Fort blast, which killed 15 and injured over 20, many victims and families are still awaiting compensation from the Delhi government. Despite the government announcing ex gratia amounts ranging from ₹10 lakh for deceased families to ₹20,000 for minor injuries, several applicants report delays due to administrative hurdles and police clarification on victim status. A source indicated 11 victims have been compensated, while others face ongoing financial distress.
