JNUTA Protests VC's Remarks and Student Arrests; ABVP Raises Concerns Over Fines

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Teachers' Association (JNUTA) held protests against alleged casteist remarks by Vice-Chancellor Shantishree Dhulipudi and the arrest of 14 students during recent demonstrations. Political leaders including Brinda Karat and Mukul Wasnik supported calls for the VC's removal and criticized police actions. Meanwhile, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested against disciplinary fines and demanded transparency in university procedures.
