Kishtwar SSP Reviews Anti-Terror Measures and Security Preparedness

Senior Superintendent of Police Naresh Singh held a security review meeting in Kishtwar focusing on strengthening the anti-terror grid and overall preparedness. The meeting assessed compliance with previous directives, operational challenges, and ongoing counter-terror efforts including cordon-and-search operations, night patrolling, and coordination with Army and CRPF. Singh emphasized sustained field presence, community engagement, enhanced intelligence, and strengthening Quick Reaction Teams and CCTV surveillance, particularly in sensitive areas like Chatroo and Marwah. Enforcement against narcotics and illegal bovine transport was also reviewed.
