Himachal Pradesh Launches Rs 2,350 Crore Plan to Develop Global Tourism Infrastructure

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced a Rs 2,350 crore investment plan to develop the state as a global tourism hub, supported by the Asian Development Bank. The projects, divided into two tranches, focus on infrastructure improvements like heliports, airport expansion, and facilities in Kangra district, Palampur, and Nagrota Bagwan. Initiatives also include spiritual, adventure, and wellness tourism developments across the state, aiming to boost the economy and create local employment.
