High-Powered Committee on Ladakh to Meet February 4 After September Clashes

The High-Powered Committee (HPC) on Ladakh, chaired by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, is scheduled to meet on February 4, 2026, in New Delhi. This will be the first meeting since violent clashes in September 2025, which resulted in casualties during protests demanding statehood and Sixth Schedule status for Ladakh.
