Suvendu Adhikari Files Rs 100 Crore Defamation Suit Against Mamata Banerjee Over Coal Scam Claims

Adhikari initiated legal action after Banerjee did not respond to a defamation notice demanding proof within 72 hours. He stated that any damages awarded would be donated to charity and urged Banerjee to consult her legal team promptly. Banerjee had publicly implicated Adhikari and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the scam but did not present evidence.
