The India-UAE joint military exercise, DESERT CYCLONE-II, concluded in Abu Dhabi after intensive training from December 18-30. The exercise focused on enhancing interoperability, mutual trust, and operational synergy between the Indian Army and UAE Land Forces, particularly in urban environments and sub-conventional operations under a UN mandate. Activities included urban combat drills, building clearance, IED awareness, casualty evacuation, and integrated offensive/defensive urban operations, strengthening defence ties and commitment to regional stability.
