The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing on a plea challenging climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's detention under the National Security Act (NSA) to March 10, allowing time to review videos related to the case. Wangchuk's counsel argues that some videos were not fully considered and that he does not endorse violence. Meanwhile, supporters held a peaceful protest outside Jodhpur Central Jail demanding his release, alleging his detention is unlawful. Wangchuk was arrested in Ladakh in September 2025 and is currently jailed in Jodhpur.
