
The Pakistan Army conducted an operation near the Torkham border in northwest Pakistan, killing Qahraman, the commander of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA), along with several associates. The militants were intercepted while attempting to approach the border and were targeted with artillery fire. Torkham is a key crossing between Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.
