Mumbai is set to expand its Metro network in 2026 with the inauguration of several new lines and extensions. Portions of four lines and one extension are anticipated, with two openings expected in January. Notably, Phase 1 of Line 9 will extend Line 7 from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayandar, adding 4.5km of track and connecting commuters to existing lines.
