Members of the AHINDA Chintakara Vedike and the Kalyana Karnataka 371(J) Constitutional Amendment Agitation Committee protested in Kalaburagi against alleged large-scale corruption within the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB). Protesters claim bills totaling nearly ₹5,300 crore have been cleared since 2023 without mandatory inspections or quality assessments, even for incomplete or non-existent works. They demand a high-level inquiry and suspension of responsible officials.
