
The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has criticized the Punjab government for holding special Assembly sessions that cost approximately Rs 1 crore each without yielding tangible results. NAPA's Executive Director, Satnam Singh Chahal, stated that resolutions passed in these sessions have not been implemented, questioning their purpose and the expenditure amid Punjab's financial crisis. He argued that symbolic politics and headline-grabbing resolutions do not address the state's pressing issues like debt, unemployment, and public service failures.
