In Raipur, a mob of 40-50 individuals disrupted Christmas celebrations at a shopping mall, damaging property estimated at ₹15,00,000. The incident occurred during a Chhattisgarh Bandh called by Hindutva groups protesting alleged religious conversions. Police arrested seven individuals linked to the Bajrang Dal, who were denied bail. In response, a larger group blocked a road for nine hours. The HRD chief, Pinky Chaudhary, remains absconding after the arrest of 10 group members.
