Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has accused the BJP-led administration of massive corruption within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) since 2017. Speaking at an NCP campaign event, Pawar highlighted issues like water crisis and the Red Zone defense land problem, alleging rigged tenders and a heavily indebted PCMC. He contrasted this with the NCP's past development efforts, aiming to regain influence in the area previously held by the NCP before the BJP's acquisition of power.
