The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the creation of two new districts and five new revenue divisions, increasing the total number of districts to 28. These changes, along with adjustments to revenue division and mandal boundaries, will take effect on December 31. The state cabinet greenlit the district reorganization measures on Monday.
