Punjab Government Launches 24/7 Helpline for Punjabis Stranded in Middle East

The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has established a 24/7 helpline to assist Punjabis stranded in the conflict-affected Middle East. Additional Director General of Police RK Jaiswal oversees the helpline, while Secretary Vimal Setia coordinates efforts and liaises with the Ministry of External Affairs. The government aims to ensure safe and smooth repatriation, maintaining records of calls and prioritizing issues requiring intervention from central authorities.
