Delhi Police Deploy AI-Enabled Smart Glasses with Facial Recognition for Republic Day Security

For Republic Day security, Delhi Police will deploy AI-enabled smart glasses with integrated facial recognition and thermal imaging technology. These devices, linked in real-time to police databases, enable officers to quickly identify individuals with criminal records or detect concealed weapons without disrupting crowds. Provided by an Indian company, the glasses will be used alongside enhanced CCTV, drone surveillance, and over 10,000 officers to strengthen security at Kartavya Path and surrounding areas.
