Brother of Slain Bangladeshi Youth Leader Appointed to UK Diplomatic Mission

Omar Bin Hadi, elder brother of slain radical youth leader Osman Sharif Bin Hadi, has been appointed as second secretary at Bangladesh's diplomatic mission in the UK on a three-year contractual basis. Osman, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho, was fatally shot during a Dhaka election campaign in December and died after treatment in Singapore. The appointment was approved by the President and notified by the Ministry of Public Administration, with conditions including severing other professional ties.
