The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has refuted Saudi Arabia's claims that it supplied weapons to Yemeni separatists, calling the allegations baseless. Abu Dhabi stated that a recent shipment to Mukalla port contained no weapons and was intended for UAE forces, not Yemeni groups. The UAE expressed surprise over Saudi airstrikes and condemned any implication in tensions between Yemeni parties, emphasizing responsible de-escalation. Saudi Arabia had previously accused the UAE of dangerous actions threatening its national security by arming the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
