
Tyson, a locally adopted German Shepherd serving as an assault dog with the Indian Army, was wounded by a bullet while leading troops during Operation Trashi-I in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir. Despite his injury, Tyson pressed forward, helping security forces locate and neutralise three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. He was airlifted for medical treatment and is reported to be recovering well. The operation involved the Army's White Knight Corps, police, and CRPF, continuing efforts to maintain regional security.
