Protesters March Toward Davos Ahead of World Economic Forum Meeting

Around 600 protesters marched from Kublis to Davos, Switzerland, ahead of the World Economic Forum's annual meeting, expressing opposition to capitalism, entrenched power structures, and policies linked to climate change and social inequality. Organised by the 'Strike-WEF' collective, participants included activists from Switzerland and abroad who criticized the WEF's influence on global economic and environmental policies. The protest highlighted calls for a democratised economy prioritizing public needs over elite interests and challenged the forum's perceived lack of democratic legitimacy.
