Delhi's Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa announced that two Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP)-4 restrictions will become permanent to combat severe air pollution. These include mandatory Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC) for refueling and a ban on non-Bharat Stage VI (BS6) vehicles entering the city. These measures will remain in effect regardless of daily air quality levels, aiming for long-term reduction in vehicular emissions as Delhi's air quality has recently worsened.
