The court ordered a pre-release screening to assess these claims and noted the filmmakers' agreement to withdraw teasers amid ongoing petitions seeking to quash the certification and reconsider the film's title. The CBFC mandated around 16 cuts, including reductions in intimate and violent scenes, and required disclaimers stating the film is based on true events. The film is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026.
