Udupi DC Faces Congress Demand for Action Over Saffron Flag Display at Religious Event

The Udupi District Congress Committee has sought action against Deputy Commissioner T.K. Swaroopa for publicly displaying a saffron flag during the Paryaya procession, alleging it violated service rules and secular principles. The flag was handed to her by BJP MLA Yashpal Suvarna at the event marking the ceremonial transfer of temple administration.
