Court Orders Release of IYC Worker in AI Summit Protest Case; Bail Plea Notices Issued

The Patiala House Court ordered the release of Indian Youth Congress worker Siddharth Avdhoot, arrested for his alleged role in coordinating the February 20 shirtless protest at the AI Impact Summit, including designing protest T-shirts. Avdhoot was granted bail on March 5 and released after bond verification. Meanwhile, the court issued a notice to Delhi Police regarding anticipatory bail pleas by IYC leader Manish Sharma, who is yet to be arrested. Several other accused have also been granted bail.
