Haryana Enhances Policing Transparency and Efficiency Through Digital Initiatives

Haryana's Home Department, led by Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Sumita Misra, has implemented digital policing initiatives to enhance transparency, efficiency, and citizen convenience. The Digital Police portal, developed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, offers online access to services such as filing complaints, tracking cases, obtaining FIRs, and accessing information on missing persons and stolen vehicles. Additional tools include mobile phone blocking via the CEIR system and national databases aiding crime prevention. Ongoing training aims to further improve these technology-driven policing efforts.
