
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated a large-scale upgrade of the state's police infrastructure by flagging off 1,485 modern vehicles, including 636 four-wheelers and 849 motorcycles, equipped with GPS and communication technology for the Dial 112 Emergency Response Support System. He also laid the foundation stones for 12 integrated police station complexes across various districts, featuring specialized units such as women, cyber, and SC/ST police stations. The initiative aims to enhance public safety, improve surveillance, and ensure rapid emergency response.
