Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized eliminating the 'colonial mindset' in dress and work styles. The move aligns with wider reviews of colonial traditions in public institutions, including university convocation gowns and legal robes, aiming to adopt attire better suited to Indian culture and climate.
