Punjab's Minister for Social Justice, Dr. Baljit Kaur, chaired a meeting to review the Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP) implementation. Officials from 25 departments discussed initiatives for the socio-economic welfare of the Scheduled Caste community. The minister stressed timely fund utilization for welfare schemes, directed departments to expedite fund release, and ensure funds are used exclusively for the SC community. She also emphasized transparency through beneficiary lists and the design of new, people-centric schemes.
