Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has formed an inquiry committee to investigate alleged irregularities within the labour department, particularly concerning the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. The probe follows accusations by Labour Minister Anil Vij regarding issues with work slips, potentially involving a scam of around Rs 1,500 crore. The committee aims to ascertain the genuineness of claimed labor and financial losses.
