Two migrant workers from South Dinajpur, West Bengal, were released from jail in Thane, Maharashtra, after six months. They were arrested on suspicion of being Bangladeshi infiltrators. Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee facilitated their release, providing legal support and advising them against working outside Bengal. The workers expressed gratitude for Banerjee's intervention, recounting their arrest despite providing documentation and their subsequent return home.
