
The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) collected a record Rs 103 crore during the National Lok Adalat, marking its highest single-day revenue. This includes Rs 99.28 crore from 16,759 taxpayers as property tax and Rs 3.83 crore from 5,276 consumers as water cess, both benefiting from surcharge relief. Officials credited citizen cooperation, awareness campaigns, and special arrangements at zonal offices for the successful collection. The IMC aims to continue enhancing revenue to support city development.
