
Veer Soren, grandson of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, died suddenly on February 24 while on vacation in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. He complained of a severe headache before collapsing and was found unconscious with foam at his mouth. Despite emergency treatment at Manali Civil Hospital, he was declared dead. Police suspect high-altitude sickness as a possible cause, but investigations and a postmortem are ongoing. Family members have expressed grief and declined a postmortem.
