Iran Condemns US for Sinking Iranian Frigate IRIS Dena in International Waters

Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, condemned the US for sinking the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena in international waters near Sri Lanka, calling it an "atrocity at sea." The vessel, carrying about 130 sailors, was reportedly visiting the Indian Navy at the time. Araghchi warned that the US would "bitterly regret" setting such a precedent, emphasizing the attack occurred without warning approximately 2,000 miles from Iran's shores.
