A fatal clash erupted between two groups of Congress and BJP supporters in Ballari, Karnataka, resulting in one death from a bullet injury. Senior leaders from both parties, B Sriramulu and Satish Reddy, reportedly visited the scene. Police fired shots in the air to control the violence, during which Rajashekar, a Congress supporter, was fatally wounded. An FIR has been registered against 11 individuals.
