
Right-wing activists, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Manish Saini, conducted a survey of street vendors in Jammu to identify alleged Bangladeshi and Rohingya refugees, asking for Aadhaar cards and placing stickers on carts. Police intervened, asking the activists to obtain permission before proceeding. Saini stated the campaign, 'Main Bharatiya, Mera Bharat Mahan,' aims to prevent illegal settlers and that they will seek formal permission from the deputy commissioner. The activists reported some vendors fled upon their arrival.
