Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified behind closed doors before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee investigating convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She denied any knowledge of Epstein's crimes or personal interactions with him, urging the panel to question President Donald Trump, who also appears in related documents but has not been called to testify. Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to testify the following day. The Clintons initially resisted subpoenas but agreed after threats of contempt of Congress. The investigation has drawn criticism from Democrats as politically motivated.
